Hopscotch might be our favorite game outside. It includes both making drawings on the asphalt and jumping. What could be better?
We don’t have a playground in the backyard or in the walking distance. So, most of our playgrounds are created with chalk. We recently drew almost a life-size classroom on the asphalt. We pretended to have “Circle time” and “Music time”. And then we drew a supermarket check out lane and played “grocery store”.
My kids enjoy drawing hopscotch blocks. They don’t exactly follow the hopscotch rules yet. And sometimes they end up in the same square. But what could be more fun!
