I was driving them home from school the other night and was trying to set behavior expectations with Masha (as parenting books teach us) by saying: “Masha it is hard for mommy to take care of both of you, Masha and Lana at the same time. You will behave when we get home, OK?”
Masha nodded in agreement and changed the subject.
Next day, as I was taking them home again, at the same road turn, Masha sighed: “Mommy, it is so hard for me to take care of both of you at the same time: Mommy and Svetlana”!
