Our bedtime battles (giveaway)

Going to bed time is one of he hardest parts of the day. Potty training was a piece of cake compared to daily challenges of putting kids to sleep.

“Ten more minutes“, we tell them.

“NO! Fifteen!”

When did a two-year-old learn that 15 minutes is more than ten?

Then they use stalling techniques. Suddenly, they get very hungry, exceptionally thirsty and want to please, please, play one more game and read one more book.

Does this girl in her gorgeous pajamas look like she is voluntarily going to march to bed?

 

The “saying good-night” part usually takes at least 10 minutes interrupted by doing cannon-balls on the bed. After another not-so-stress-free 40 minutes to an hour routine they finally go to bed.

We found, however, that taking a bath right before bed helps a great deal.
